Coach Sterling enters her 10th season on the BAVA staff this season. As a collegiate player at Maryland Eastern Shore, she served as a captain three seasons and eventually graduated as the first player in program history to record at least 1,000 career kills and digs in her career. She was also named Second Team All-Conference in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference as both a junior and senior and capped off her career in 2009 with the team's MVP award, she graduated in 2010. Following her career at UMES, Coach Caylin played for Gislaved Voleyboll Klubb in Sweden in 2010-11 and Reggio Calabria SS. Cuore in Italy in 2011-12. The native of Garden Grove, Calif., got her first taste of coaching at the Regis University Volleyball Camps in Denver. There she spent two summers working with players aged 12-18 on position-specific and overall game skills. She was later a youth coach at Gold Medal Squared Elite Volleyball Training in Arizona; coached at the University of Albany in 2012 where she assisted the Great Danes with a number of responsibilities including recruiting, scouting, training and compliance and administrative tasks; and coached at Bucknell University in the 2013 season.  She is currently the director and one of the head coaches of the BAVA Beach Program.  Coach Sterling has coached BAVA 15's, 16's, 17’s, and 18's, BAVA Rec,  and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Dani is entering her third year of coaching for BAVA. She grew up in Connecticut and played all four years at Joel Barlow High School, three of which she played on varsity and was captain her senior year. Her team won their conference championship all four years. During the off-season, Dani played club at TCA her freshman year and CT Juniors her sophomore and junior years.  Dani went on to be captain of the club volleyball team at Loyola University Maryland. While attending Loyola, she helped coach clinics and camps for middle and high schoolers in Connecticut during the summers alongside her former coaches.  Dani has coached BAVA 16’s and 17’s, BAVA Beach, and she is USAV IMPACT and SafeSport certified.

Coach Rombach is entering his second year as a coach with BAVA's indoor volleyball program.  He started his volleyball career with TimeOut Volleyball Club, where he played for six seasons.  He was a four-year starter and three year captain for the Archbishop Spalding High School Men's Varsity Volleyball team, leading his team to the two best finishes in school history.  In college, he was once again a four-year starter and three year captain for the Loyola University Maryland Men's Volleyball Team.  In 2018, Coach Rombach started assisting with the Women's Volleyball team at Loyola University, where he helped the team reach the Patriot League Playoffs for the first four times in school history in his four seasons with the team.  In the summer of 2021, he coached for BAVA Beach.  In the Fall of 2023, he supported Broadneck as a volunteer assistant coach.  He has played every position, though most predominantly as a libero and setter.  Coach Rombach has coached BAVA 18's, is IMPACT and SafeSport certified.

Coach Omo-Osagie will be starting her 1st year with BAVA and has been coaching for 4 years at the high school and club level.  She began her volleyball career in high school as an Outside Hitter for Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts and has never looked back. She went on to play collegiate volleyball for Bowie State University. Even though trained as an outside hitter, she played as a Middle Hitter and was recognized for her leadership skills and announced captain for her junior and senior seasons. She led the team in blocks, served as an Athletic Ambassador, and was even awarded the “Female Athlete of the Year (2019)” for Bowie State Athletics.  She currently serves as the Head Varsity Coach of the girls volleyball program at Glenelg Country School in Howard County, MD where they are currently the IAAM Champions C Conference (2022). They are the first volleyball team at Glenelg in history to win the championships! Thanks to this, they are currently in the B Conference.  Coach O is Safesport and IMPACT certified.

Coach Radford is entering her 20th year of coaching for BAVA. She started her playing career at Northern High School, spending three years on Varsity. During her four years, they won 3 Southern MD Athletic Conference Titles, 3 Maryland State Titles, named 1st team All Calvert County and 1st team All-SMAC two times, names All-Calvert County MVP, and 1st team All-Metro. Coach Radford also played four years of varsity softball, winning 2 SMAC Titles and 2 MD State Titles. She was named 1st team All-American Scholar Athlete, 2nd team All-American, 3 years on 1st team All-SMAC, 1 year 2nd team all-SMAC, 3 years 1st team All-Calvert County, All-Calvert County MVP, 2nd team All-Metro, and 1st team All-Metro. She was inducted into the Northern High School Hall of Fame in 2003. She also played 7 years of USAV for Southern Maryland Juniors. Coach Radford continued her softball career at the University of Maryland, being named 2 time Mid-Atlantic regional All-American and 1 year All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference). She was the varsity head coach at Northern High School in Calvert County 2011-2012. Coach Radford has coached BAVA Rec, 14's, 15's, 16's and 17's, is IMPACT and Safesport certified, and a member of the AVCA.

Coach Mills enters her 3rd season on the BAVA coaching staff. Morgan began playing volleyball at 12 years old and played for a variety of clubs in the area, including BAVA. Morgan went to Arundel high school where she was captain of the JV team both freshman and sophomore year.  During her junior year the team had a deep run in the state tournament.  She is excited to move from playing into coaching.  Coach Mills has coached BAVA 14’s, is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Morgan is entering her first season coaching with BAVA as head coach of the 15 Cyclones.  She began her volleyball career at the age of 11 and has 14 years of experience.  She played as a setter for four different Maryland-based clubs, including BAVA, and has been named team captain multiple seasons.  She played volleyball at Arundel High School, where she was promoted to Varsity her sophomore year.  More recently, Morgan started coaching club level teams.  She hopes to share her knowledge, experience, and love for the sport with others.  She is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Leventry helped start BAVA in 1999 and is currently the Club Commissioner. This is her 20th year coaching for BAVA. She started her playing career at Chesapeake Volleyball Club in 1995. She played 4 years at Severna Park High School, 3 on varsity, and earned many honors. Coach Boyd was named 1st team All-Anne Arundel County by The Capital and The Sun. She was also named 1st team All-Metro by the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post. Coach Boyd was named the Anne Arundel County Player of the Year in 1998, leading her team to the 4A State Finals. She also played USAV at Columbia Volleyball Club 1995-99. She continued her career at Gettysburg College, starting for 4 years and helping her team make 3 NCAA appearances. She was named 1st team All-Centennial Conference in 2001 and 2002 and Centennial Conference Player of the Year in 2002. She was the assistant varsity coach at Severna Park High School 2003-2006 and is the JV Head Coach at Severna Park High School 2007-2015, 2023. Her time spent with the varsity team at Severna Park contributed to the undefeated 2014 season, 20-0, and winning the 4A Maryland State Championship. She has helped grow the sport of volleyball in Anne Arundel County by helping start the Anne Arundel County Fall Recreational Volleyball league and by running many camps and clinics. Coach Lauren has coached BAVA 12's, 13’s, 14’s, 15's, 16's, and 17's, BAVA Stars Program, BAVA fall recreation teams, is IMPACT certified, Safesport certified, CAP I certified, and a member of AVCA.

Coach Leventry is entering his 19th season coaching for BAVA. He started his playing career with the Maryland Volleyball Program, playing for 6 years, and being named an AAU All-American. He continued his playing career at Towson University. Coach Leventry was the Head Coach at Severna Park High School from 2006-2009, leading the team to the Anne Arundel County Championship in 2007 and 2009. He has also coached the University of Maryland women's club team. He spent the 2010 and 2011 seasons as the assistant coach at Goucher College in Towson, MD. Coach Leventry spent the 2012 season as the Associate Head Coach at Washington College leading the team to one of the most successful seasons in program history. He is currently the head coach at Washington College taking the program to a new level. Coach Leventry has coached BAVA Stars, BAVA 13's, 15's, 16's, 17's, and 18's, is IMPACT certified, Safesport certified, CAP I certified, and is a member of the AVCA.

Coach Carter is one of the founders of BAVA and is entering her 25th year coaching for the club. She started her playing career at Parkdale High School and continued playing at Salisbury University. Coach Carter coached 6 years with Capital Volleyball Club. She has been the Varsity Head Coach at South River High School for 29 years. Coach Carter was the 1995 Capital Gazette Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year, the 2005 Capital Gazette Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year, the 2005 Baltimore Sun All-Met Coach of the Year, the 2013 Capital Gazette Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year, the 2013 Baltimore Sun All-Met Coach of the Year, and the 2016 Capital Gazette Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year, and the 2022 Capital Gazette Anne Arundel County Coach of the year.  Coach Carter has coached BAVA 14's, 15's, 16's,17's, and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Lizzy is entering her 2nd season coaching for BAVA. She grew up playing volleyball for various clubs in the area including BAVA. She played volleyball at Archbishop Spalding High School and went on to play at Mount St. Mary’s University at the club level. She is currently the JV coach at Broadneck High School. Coach Lizzy has coached BAVA 15’s and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Regalbuto is entering her 11th season coaching with BAVA. Tracey began her volleyball career at age 14 playing for Hedgesville High School in West Virginia. She was the starting setter for four years and captain for three years leading her team to 3 Regional championships and a State Championship. She was named to the first team West Virginia All-Tournament in 2001, 2002, and 2003. She was also a part of the track and field team which involved running hurdles pole vaulting.  After high school she went and played on scholarship for both volleyball and track at West Liberty University. She was the starting setter and was named to the All-Conference team in 2004 and 2005.  Tracey returned to Hedgesville High School to begin her coaching career in 2008 before moving to Maryland where she is currently the varsity head coach at Broadneck High School. Coach Regalbuto has coached BAVA 14's, 15’s, and 16’s , BAVA Rec, and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Mills is entering her 10th season coaching with BAVA. She attended Islip High school in New York playing volleyball and basketball. She was named All league and All County in both Volleyball and Basketball. She also received the Gold Key Award, and Winter sports Coaches award.    She attended Millersville University in Lancaster, PA, graduating in 2012.  She was the JV volleyball coach at Arundel High School 2012-2014 and is currently the varsity assistant volleyball coach at Broadneck High School. Coach Louer has coached BAVA Rec, 14’s and 15’s and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Caster is entering her 11th year coaching with BAVA. She played for BAVA from 2004 to 2009 and Chesapeake High School from 2005 to 2009, playing three years on varsity and named captain her junior and senior years. She started her coaching career by helping run several summer camps and clinics. Coach Caster was the JV volleyball coach at Broadneck High School for 7 years, coaching her team to the JV county championship in the inaugural year in 2019 and then again in 2021. Now she is an assistant to the JV & Varsity teams at Broadneck. Coach Caster has coached in the fall recreational league, BAVA 12’s, 13’s, 14’s, 15’s and 16’s, and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Jeffries graduated from the University of Maryland in 1979 with a biology degree, is married with 3 children, has coached BAVA Stars, Rec, 12's, 13’s and 14's, is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Ella is entering her first year coaching at BAVA.  She is a senior at Broadneck High School.  She plans to attend a 4 year university and major in elementary education to pursue a career in speech pathology.  She has played on the Broadneck High School for 4 years, 3 of them on varsity.  Coach Ella is a captain her senior year.  She has played with BAVA for 5 years, playing setter, libero, and defensive specialist and is excited to be a coach!

Coach Giuffrida; otherwise known as Coach G is entering his 1 st season as a head coach for the BAVA Bolts this year. As a collegiate player at Arcadia University, he was one of nine incoming freshmen to start the 1st Men’s Varsity team to compete at the NCAA level. His 2019 knights finished 8 th in the rankings, won the MAC conference and earned a trip to the 2019 NCAA tournament.

Coach Exel enters her 8th season on the BAVA coaching staff. She attended Severna Park High School (2003-2006) playing on the volleyball team. She also played for BAVA in 2005 and 2006. She attended Frostburg State University (2007-2010). During her tenure, the team won four conference championships (3 AMCC & 1 Capital Athletic Conference), had four NCAA DIII Tournament appearances, and had one top 16 finish in 2010. Coach McVearry has coached with BAVA in the past working at clinics, camps, and volunteering 2006-2009. She coached at the Florida Inland/Elite club for two years 2013-2014 in Daytona Beach, FL. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic- Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus in 2014. Coach McVearry has coached BAVA 14's, 16’s, 18's, and is IMPACT and Safesport certified.

Coach Sammi enters her 3rd season coaching with BAVA.  She is a recent graduate of Broadneck High School and is currently attending Anne Arundel Community College.  She played volleyball at Broadneck for 4 years, on Varsity 3 out of 4 years.  Sammi’s senior year, she was a captain and made 2nd Team All-County.  Sammi has been playing volleyball for 9 years with multiple different clubs, but playing her senior year on BAVA Lightning 18-1s.  She has played almost every position including libero/DS, outside/opposite hitter, and setter.  Sammi has coaches BAVA 14’s, is IMPACT and Safesport certified.
